Lorenda Chisolm

I currently serve as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning in Schenectady, NY. I am also an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate School of Education at Medaille University. My research focuses on the intersections of school leadership, social justice, equity and access, and STEM enactment in high needs schools.

As part of the ISLDN, I have been fortunate to conduct research that marries both strands: social justice and high needs from an international context. My research adds to the extant literature of successful school leadership practices by applying and extending the work of the ISLDN to developing nations, specifically the nation of Belize, Central America.
